I am a geophysicist interested in challenging data analysis problems such as seismic imaging, earthquake early warning, and volcano monitoring. I have experience with real-time digital signal processing, non-linear optimisation methods, and Bayesian statistics. At GNS Science, New Zealand, my work is currently focussed on automatic anomaly detection in continuous gas-chemistry observations.
